About the position

The Account Manager at Hilti serves as the primary contact for customers, focusing on enhancing productivity, safety, and sustainability in the construction industry. This role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships, and providing high-level consultations while demonstrating Hilti's tools. The position allows for flexibility in scheduling to best meet customer needs and emphasizes the importance of tracking sales interactions through Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and build strong relationships.
  • Create a daily schedule to optimize client potential and sales productivity.
  • Demonstrate Hilti tools to customers and provide high-level consultations.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track sales interactions and report progress.
  • Be present on job sites and client offices to capture business opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably with set targets.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to demonstrate tools to customers.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Experience in territory management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
