About the position

TestEquity is seeking an Account Manager to develop new business and stimulate sales growth of existing and new accounts. This role involves managing all region leads, onboarding new customers, and selling the entire range of products and services offered by the company. The Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth through the retention and expansion of revenue at current customers and acquiring new customers within their defined territory. The ideal candidate will reside in Ohio or Indiana, but the company is open to candidates from neighboring states as well. The Account Manager will be expected to build, identify, and implement strategies that enable growth while providing value, solutions, and technical support for their customers. This includes qualifying new sales leads, building relationships within the contact base, and ensuring customer growth by partnering to drive proactive solutions that meet customer needs. The role also involves effectively demonstrating products to customers and coordinating order management activities, including order entry, contract review, on-time delivery performance, inventory maintenance, and returns. Additionally, the Account Manager will engage in re-activation campaigns focused on re-engaging dormant accounts and collaborate with internal and external resources to identify emerging customer needs, cost savings opportunities, and revenue enhancement opportunities. Developing and monitoring a sales plan to achieve annualized account-level goals is crucial, as is maintaining a growing opportunity funnel for the assigned territory. The role requires a strategic understanding of industry trends affecting customers and the ability to communicate a compelling vision to support strategic initiatives for assigned customers.
