About the position

The Account Manager, Production at Midnight Oil is responsible for overseeing all campaigns and projects for assigned clients from a production perspective. This role focuses on ensuring high levels of client service and seamless execution of production projects, while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and budget. The Account Manager collaborates with Account Directors and Project Managers to meet or exceed client goals, ensuring exceptional delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and be accountable for all campaign and project work focused on Production for assigned clients.
  • Partner with Account Director to understand client goals and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Own the day-to-day workflow of campaigns and projects to keep Account Directors focused on sales.
  • Lead, motivate, and set clear expectations with Project Managers and other account team members.
  • Direct production work through the support team to ensure success.
  • Be present, on-site, to drive project workflow through appropriate departments.
  • Work within Adobe Workfront/iQuote/Monarch to create campaigns/projects and manage schedules.
  • Plan bi-weekly forecasts with the Account Director to understand client demand and assign resources accordingly.
  • Establish strong relationships with assigned clients and build trust over time.
  • Understand account strategies, operating budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assigned clients.
  • Prioritize billing/profitability for assigned accounts and work with finance for reporting.
  • Liaise with other Account Managers for continuous improvement and alignment with client goals.
  • Assist other clients during lighter workloads on dedicated accounts.
  • Provide updates to heads of Creative and Operations regarding account needs and budgeting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years professional experience in a project management discipline in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud, and job tracking systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Campaign Production.
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ultimate client satisfaction mentality and approach.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Strategic thinker with outstanding analytic skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Creative, Media, Marketing Agency, and/or Entertainment industry.
  • Project Management Professional training preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
