About the position

The Account Manager (AM) at Careforth is responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts to identify and refer qualified families to the company's Structured Family Care (SFC) program. This role involves building strategic relationships within the healthcare community to meet lead and sales goals, while also supporting caregivers through outreach and education about available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Meet/exceed qualified lead and activation goals by building relationships with payers, community organizations, and healthcare facilities.
  • Prospect Medicaid eligible individuals through qualified referral sources such as Area Agencies for Aging and Managed Care Organizations.
  • Document all sales activities in a CRM with detail, accuracy, and timeliness; generate weekly territory reports.
  • Proactively follow leads through the sales funnel, tracking their status and removing roadblocks to support Medicaid enrollment.
  • Lead projects in support of business development and community partnerships; execute on promotional activities within assigned territory.
  • Identify opportunities to raise program awareness through community and industry events.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a healthcare or payer environment.
  • Experience working with Medicaid or Dual Eligible population strongly desired.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment; strong organizational skills.
  • Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce preferred) with strong documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license required.
