About the position

The Account Manager at Essity will focus on developing relationships with large end users and district distribution partners, aiming to retain and grow existing business while pursuing new opportunities. This remote position, covering Wisconsin, requires collaboration with internal departments and a proactive approach to drive sales and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes strong communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to execute business plans effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop strong relationships with distribution partners.
  • Execute clear communication following Essity Commercial Planning directives.
  • Negotiate with distribution partners in the sales district.
  • Create and execute distribution business plans.
  • Hold business reviews and drive cross-selling and upselling in existing accounts.
  • Translate sales plans into operational sales activities per customer/account.
  • Monitor and adjust sales activities regularly to meet objectives.
  • Pursue sales leads from Essity and distributor partners.
  • Ensure DSR have outstanding knowledge of Essity products and hygiene solutions.
  • Cooperate with Segment sales to support End Customers wins.
  • Deliver on agreed Sales targets and Sales KPIs with designated Distribution partners.
  • Respond to day-to-day business matters and customer inquiries.
  • Execute on product mix and hygiene solutions to contribute to profitability and retention.
  • Position TORK as the preferred brand with distribution partners.
  • Continuously build market knowledge and respond to sales leads and customer feedback.
  • Develop own sales competence and leadership skills according to Essity Leadership platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (experience in lieu of education considered).
  • 3-5 years of sales experience; 2-3 years of account management experience.
  • Strong technical capabilities in blended selling roles and CRM experience.
  • Ability to work virtually with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience using MS Office, MS Teams, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Proficient in presenting virtual presentations via online platforms.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
  • Proven negotiating, persuasion, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capture revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
