About the position

The Account Manager position at Myers Capital Advisors is focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while providing exceptional customer service to clients. The role involves managing client relationships, conducting financial reviews, and utilizing CRM software to track interactions and forecast client needs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills to handle various client service tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and offer recommendations to help clients meet their financial goals.
  • Utilize CRM software to track client interactions, update information, and forecast future needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and address any client concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Receive incoming client service calls in a friendly, warm manner.
  • Record notes from every client conversation in the database.
  • Complete the process of new business applications and create appropriate client files for each new account.
  • Complete and process client service work, including charges/withdrawals and index annuity reallocations.
  • Follow up on pending business with appropriate companies and call each client with an update.
  • Resolve any issues regarding new accounts, transfers, or amendments.
  • Prep all new accounts for delivery and schedule delivery meetings with clients.
  • Assist Advisor with pre-appointment preparation, including applications and gathering account values for client review summaries.
  • Call clients with annuity renewals and provide the Advisor's recommendations.
  • Complete, submit, and maintain compliance blotters and transactions.
  • Present and review YTD production and pending business reports during weekly team meetings.
  • Manage RMDs for all qualified client accounts and process transfer paperwork.
  • Maintain current licenses and appointments with agencies and companies.

Requirements

  • 3 years prior experience working in the insurance and/or financial industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks and issues.
  • Resourceful in problem resolution.
  • Phenomenal phone skills and ability to build trust with clients.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
