About the position

The Account Manager at Nitrogen is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue retention through effective engagement and support. This role involves facilitating sales calls, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and product adoption. The Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining relationships with clients and advocating for their needs within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers throughout the Customer Journey to improve customer health metrics.
  • Facilitate sales calls with existing customers using a value-based sales methodology.
  • Follow established operational processes related to contract amendments, including upsells, upgrades, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for account growth and see them through to completion.
  • Participate in driving the ideation and execution of the Advisor Direct Engagement Strategy.
  • Engage key contacts through Marketing Campaigns to increase engagement and product adoption.
  • Maintain adequate data in Salesforce related to Accounts and Contacts.
  • Participate in team and cross-functional meetings, including product training and all-company standups.
  • Establish a cadence of activities that support a 'one to many' strategy with the book of business.
  • Manage customer cases related to billing and contract inquiries throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Complete accurate and timely reporting on performance metrics.
  • Share customers' product enhancement requests and feedback with the team.
  • Process all renewal rate increases associated with customers in your book of business.

Requirements

  • 2 years at a technology company with a SaaS subscription model.
  • 2 years in a customer-facing role in technology.
  • 1 year using Salesforce on a daily basis as part of your core role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Sheets/Numbers/Excel for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial advisory services.
