About the position

As an Account Manager at Pasona N A, Inc., you will be responsible for supporting automotive T1/T2 customers with semiconductor products. This role involves managing multiple clients and suppliers to ensure all customer requirements are met, requiring strong timeline management, business acumen, and professional communication skills. The position also includes program management, supply chain management, and quality responsibility, with travel required a few times a month.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a customer program life cycle from design to EOL by customer and by parts number.
  • Conduct high-level technical discussions with engineering to increase new opportunities.
  • Obtain program information from customers to manage production pipeline or new business opportunities.
  • Manage customer program information in Excel & PowerPoint in a timely manner.
  • Update monthly automotive market information.
  • Understand semiconductor supplier and customer market environment including acquisitions.
  • Work with Material Planners to manage processing quotes and customer forecasts/orders based on supplier lead time.
  • Facilitate trucking, expediting, and managing P/O based on customer requirements.
  • Manage supply and demand to avoid short-supply or dead inventory based on customer FCT.
  • Manage line down situations and aging inventory.
  • Understand and manage all N.A. automotive logistics requirements including WMS, Label, barcode, and traceability.
  • Negotiate and manage RFQ & cost reduction based on customer programs.
  • Analyze and calculate cost, resales, profitability, and usage.
  • Negotiate annual cost reductions between customers and suppliers to increase sales & profitability.
  • Create and organize customer data leveraging Excel.
  • Update daily & weekly activities without delay.
  • Manage Weekly POS, BKLG, INV to meet company goals.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasts with suppliers.
  • Manage processes including PPAP, PCN, Failure analysis, and quality documentation between supplier and customer.
  • Provide high-level technical assistance with material verification resolution and specification exceptions.
  • Manage all traceability data in Excel and/or PowerPoint.
  • Summarize all business opportunities both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage all internal/external communications without delay.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in the semiconductor industry, focusing on automotive accounts (preferred).
  • Proficient in understanding and articulating the role of distributors in the semiconductor and automotive markets.
  • Strong aptitude for risk management aligned with semiconductor QCDD standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in account management roles within the semiconductor industry.
  • Familiarity with automotive logistics requirements.
