About the position

The Account Manager at PITT OHIO Express LLC is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting enterprise sales efforts. This remote position requires collaboration with outside sales representatives to grow both new and existing business, ensuring customer needs are met through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support as the single point of contact for all Supply Chain Solutions customers.
  • Assist customers by responding quickly to questions or concerns, including partnership dispositions, tracking & tracing, invoicing, scheduling pick-ups, service disruptions, and OS&D.
  • Liaise between PITT OHIO SCS and Carrier Network to provide world-class customer service related to all issues, challenges, and concerns.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all PITT OHIO and Supply Chain applications and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales Team and serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day and administrative customer needs.
  • Build strong working relationships with strategic customers to assist in advancing current and new opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal onboarding efforts among various departments within the PITT OHIO enterprise.
  • Manage the day-to-day requirements for assigned managed accounts, including monitoring emails during non-work hours.
  • Compile documents for quarterly customer reviews, including customer/industry updates and revenue reports.
  • Use Dynamics to build a central repository of customer knowledge to prioritize sales efforts and make better business decisions.

Requirements

  • Must employ a can-do attitude and demonstrate a willingness to tackle varying issues.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to multi-task and track projects in detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage customer concerns positively.
  • Analytical experience to solve complex operational concerns is preferred.
  • 2+ years of Transportation or Logistics experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
  • Above-average time management and organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn PITT OHIO proprietary applications to assist customers.
  • Accessibility via phone, email, or on-site visits as needed.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively among peers and work as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and flexible with strong business acumen.
