About the position

The Account Manager at WebbMason is responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships, managing national accounts, and overseeing the production of projects from inception to completion. This role requires proactive engagement with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, while also identifying opportunities for service expansion and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Manage national accounts with a consistent presence at customer locations.
  • Initiate design concepts and oversee project production from start to finish.
  • Resolve discrepancies and maintain a clean open order report.
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and promote services.
  • Verify customer satisfaction and address complaints independently.
  • Develop specifications and compute customer-specific pricing.
  • Review past orders to generate ideas for expanding services.
  • Establish payment schedules with clients and monitor progress on their needs.
  • Investigate potential new vendors and adhere to preferred vendor lists.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of company products and services.
  • Proven customer service skills and techniques.
  • Prior program management experience.
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and phone skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
