About the position

The Account Manager at ALP PLM LLC is responsible for managing existing customer relationships and driving revenue growth through enhanced sales. This role requires a deep understanding of landscape production and services, ensuring excellent customer service and continuous sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily customer relationships to ensure continuous sales growth and excellent customer service.
  • Respond to customer questions related to landscape installation, maintenance, and snow removal.
  • Conduct consistent walk-throughs with customers to identify and document discrepancies or concerns.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Operations Manager on job estimates based on labor and pricing.
  • Ensure work tickets are managed according to schedule and budget.
  • Inspect properties to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain continuous communication with vendors, subcontractors, service providers, and customers.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance of work tickets for timeliness and profitability.
  • Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and companywide initiatives as needed.
  • Manage marketing and promotion of services and products to customers.
  • Perform snow removal duties during the snow season while ensuring safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree preferred, horticulture degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
  • Knowledge of horticulture including plants, shrubs, weeds, pests, insects, and horticultural diseases.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PC.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
