About the position

The Account Manager at Southwest Electric will be responsible for managing and growing the company's AC/DC Motor products and services within Oklahoma and surrounding states. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with regional customers, soliciting new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor repair and sales, and will be expected to relocate to the Oklahoma City office.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer's sites to maintain and build Southwest Electric's AC/DC Motor offerings and services.
  • Solicit new business opportunities that fit within our strategic goals and objectives while cross-selling our different verticals of business.
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs.
  • Create proposals and quotations for our products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management.
  • Manage all reporting about the health of customers' accounts.
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of previous motor repair, or relevant sales experience.
  • Willingness to relocate to Nashville, TN.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.
  • A technical degree is highly desirable.
