Responsibilities
- Establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
- Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and ensuring customer retention.
- Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions.
Requirements
- Industrial Outside sales experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain existing customer base while developing new business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of the practical application of pumps, hoses, fittings, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a bonus but not required as training is provided.
