About the position

As an Account Onboarding & Maintenance Specialist at UBS, you will play a crucial role in delivering an elevated white-glove client experience. This position requires a commitment to problem-solving and the ability to navigate complex issues while collaborating with various teams within the organization. You will be responsible for supporting sensitive inbound field inquiries and working closely with management to identify key drivers of these inquiries. Your role will also involve developing efficiency plans aimed at reducing call volume and executing proactive outreach to enhance client interactions. In addition to handling inquiries, you will be expected to continuously enhance your knowledge to maintain your status as a Subject Matter Expert. This will involve close collaboration with internal partners to resolve issues for our PWM, Pinnacle, and Chairman's Council advisors and teams. You will engage with various departments, including Operations, Products & Services, Field Leadership, Compliance, and Communications, to ensure that all client needs are met effectively. Your responsibilities will also include tracking escalations, system enhancements, and issues to present to key stakeholders for improvement. You will provide support on special projects and ad-hoc requests aimed at improving the overall field experience. This role is part of the Account Onboarding and Restrictions & Exits Specialized Servicing Team (SST) within the Business AML Organization (BAMLO), focusing on strategy, implementation, and oversight for the AML program within the US Wealth Management line of business. The position is based in both Weehawken and Nashville, and you will work collaboratively with business partners, WM field leadership, and Second Line Compliance partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support sensitive inbound field inquiries and collaborate with management to identify key inbound drivers.

  • Maintain Subject Matter Expert status through continuous knowledge enhancement.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required; advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent judgment and capable of interacting with all levels of management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
