About the position

The Account Operations Director at GPJ is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of client programs, ensuring financial and operational performance. This hybrid role requires collaboration with account leadership to maintain standards, manage risks, and ensure compliance with contracts and policies. The director will influence budget approvals, process adherence, and operational governance, contributing to the overall success of client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of client programs, focusing on financial and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with account leadership to meet company standards, emphasizing account margins and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to operational processes and standards at GPJ, communicating program risks to leadership teams.
  • Review and approve project/program budgets in collaboration with account teams, ensuring compliance with GPJ processes.
  • Oversee policy governance and best practices for security and data privacy.
  • Review design concepts for feasibility, deliverables, and timelines.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industry-related experience.
  • Ability to understand on-site methodology and practices, as well as show and venue rules and regulations.
  • Strong math skills and an accounting or finance background.
  • Proficiency in GSuite and experience with JDE or Deltek or similar tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management software.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively.
