About the position

The Account Operations Specialist II at Cox Automotive serves as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues related to vehicle sales and reconditioning. This role involves collaborating with auction teams and various stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service, maintain client relationships, and ensure the quality and timely completion of vehicle reconditioning services. The specialist is responsible for examining vehicles, coordinating services, and educating clients on auction processes while adhering to company standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts of varying complexity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and maintain communication with auction departments.
  • Examine vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure quality standards and complete estimates for reconditioning services.
  • Conduct condition report and imaging audits to minimize policy loss and goodwill expenses.
  • Educate clients on auction processes and recommend Manheim/CAI products and services based on their needs.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization skills and professionalism in client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with PII policies and deliver exceptional customer service while resolving issues.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Cox standards regarding reconditioning services and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry required.
  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning or general auto body knowledge required.
  • Valid Driver's License and safe driving record required.
  • Physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties within required timeframes.

  • Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
