About the position

InteLogix is seeking an Account Owner to manage business-to-business collections for clients. This full-time role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service. The position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for both onsite and remote work, and offers flexible scheduling within business hours.

Responsibilities

• Independently place outbound calls to businesses that are past due on invoices.
• Contact businesses via email or portal to collect payments.
• Respond to external and internal customer requests via phone and email in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Independently reconcile complex accounts and resolve customer disputes by collaborating with other departments regarding invoices and cash applications.
• Process daily and/or month-end account reconciliations using spreadsheets such as daily cash logs.
• Review and prepare customer refunds for duplicate payments, overpayments, and payments to incorrect companies.
• Prepare weekly aging reports and prioritize accounts based on overdue status.
• Conduct account reviews for credit releases.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional/Commercial collections experience (business to business) required.
• Ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions.
• Possess computer/technology savvy with the ability to operate multiple windows and tabs while providing customer service.
• Ability to interpret a constant flow of information.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Superb attendance to be available when customers need assistance.
• Ability to define and solve problems.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• SAP/CRM experience preferred.
• Excel/Word skills including Pivot tables, VLookups, and other formulas.
