About the position

The Account Partner role at Veeva Systems involves driving sales of commercial data products to Life Sciences companies. This position requires a blend of experience in selling data solutions and a collaborative work style to align customer objectives with Veeva's offerings. The role is pivotal in understanding market dynamics and customer needs throughout the brand lifecycle, contributing to the growth of a new business line within a leading SaaS company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Veeva's commercial data offerings and articulate them persuasively to prospects and customers.
  • Identify opportunities and lead sales efforts through the full cycle of interest to onboarding.
  • Align with peer team members for an organized and customer-focused account strategy.
  • Develop strong and mutually valuable relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Manage pipeline with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, ensuring careful follow-up to closure.
  • Work closely with Product Experts to manage successful client deployments and ensure ongoing high client satisfaction and renewal.
  • Keep current with industry trends, engage customers, address their business challenges, and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in selling data-driven solutions to life science customers.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals while contributing to the success of the team.
  • Strong understanding of life science use cases supported by data with a demonstrated ability to navigate the relevant ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting with life science customers.
  • Eagerness to work in a startup team environment that will be rapidly changing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to spend time onsite with customers.
  • BS or BA degree is required.
