About the position

The Account Partner role at Veeva Systems focuses on driving sales for Vault Basics, a suite of scalable R&D applications designed for emerging biotechnology companies. This position is pivotal in helping these companies bring their products to market more efficiently by leveraging standardized, pre-configured applications. The Account Partner will be responsible for achieving sales goals, generating new business opportunities, and managing relationships with executive-level clients in the biotech sector.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve team quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Generate new opportunities and win new business.
  • Manage executive-level relationships with emerging biotech companies.
  • Understand and execute the sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate.
  • Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges.
  • Act with urgency, integrity, and a relentless focus on customer success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience, including 2+ years in R&D domains and SaaS selling into Life Sciences.
  • Experience selling complementary or competitive solutions into R&D.
  • Demonstrated results in a sales role to C-Level executives.
  • Ability to articulate business cases and value propositions to C-Level executives.
  • Entrepreneurial instincts and a creative mindset to make things happen.
