About the position

The Account Project Manager (APM) plays a crucial role in managing projects and contributing to the strategic vision for account growth in collaboration with Business Development and Sales/Operations Managers. This position focuses on optimizing work processes, ensuring high-quality support for clients, and adapting to changing business needs. APMs are responsible for managing account requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and serving as the main point of contact for clients during the maintenance phase.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a project manager and contribute to the strategic vision for account evolution and growth.
  • Work with Sales and Operations leadership to address inter-dependencies within programs and regions.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and quality of account requirements; develop mitigation strategies for risks and issues.
  • Accountable for the execution of product refreshes, new launches, complex IT services, and client events.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to mitigate risks and execute client needs.
  • Assist with training team members on account requirements and specific program processes.
  • Document and execute operational approaches, activities, schedules, workflows, and plans for assigned client programs.
  • Act as the main point of contact and escalation point for assigned customers during the maintenance phase.
  • Support the retention and growth of the regional account base.

Requirements

  • Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to improve processes and determine root causes of poor performance.
  • Ability to synthesize customer inputs and business performance metrics into actionable projects.
  • Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group facilitation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access Databases).
  • Previous experience in a sales environment or handling client objections.
  • Available for moderate travel (6-8 trips annually).
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively.
