The Account Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function within the organization. They play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and cash application processes. Key responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing the billing process, verifying invoice accuracy, developing strategies to optimize collections, monitoring accounts receivable aging, and communicating with customers regarding outstanding invoices. The manager will also lead a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and productivity. Additionally, they will identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. The Account Receivable Manager will also ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards, maintain proper documentation, and assist with audits as required.
