About the position

The Account Receivable Specialist at Powerhouse Retail Services LLC is responsible for managing and maintaining customer accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and resolving discrepancies. This role is crucial for supporting the financial operations of the company and involves cross-functional collaboration to address billing issues and prepare reports on accounts receivable activity.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Maintain and update customer accounts receivable records.
• Research and resolve basic discrepancies in customer accounts.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve payment and billing errors.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable activity and aging.
• Reconcile accounts receivable with the general ledger.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Billing Manager and Department Head.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience with the Facility Maintenance industry accounting preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
