About the position

The Account Receivable Specialist at Sunrise Systems, Inc. is responsible for supporting the controllership team through data gathering and documentation. This mid-level position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to manage accounts receivable tasks effectively while ensuring timely reporting and participation in financial initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ability to follow tasks assigned by manager within set timelines.
• Prepare accurate and timely status reports to management and other departments, as needed.
• Participate in special projects, cost analysis, and other financial initiatives.
• Prepare assigned monthly and quarterly reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of work experience.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Associate's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Strong analytical, technical and research skills.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Requires 3-4 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Tech Savvy, which includes use of shared files, MS Teams and Outlook, proficiency in Excel and Oracle and Adobe.

Benefits

• Contract position with hourly pay of $27.00 - $30.00 per hour.
• Temporarily hybrid work arrangement until 1/1/25, transitioning to 100% onsite after.
