We are currently seeking part-time Account Representatives who are bilingual in English and Spanish to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in helping us maintain our high standards of customer service and satisfaction. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned monthly bad debt performance plans. You will gather information from consumers to open charge accounts in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. A key part of your role will involve reviewing consumer credit reports to provide accurate information regarding approved limits authorized by store management. You will also be tasked with collecting personal transaction information while ensuring data accuracy and security in accordance with our consumer privacy policy. In addition to these responsibilities, you will engage with customers to reduce past due accounts and schedule payment arrangements. Accepting payments or advances on established consumer credit accounts will also be part of your duties. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor is crucial, as you will represent Don Roberto Jewelers in all customer interactions. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and flexibility in your schedule is required, including the possibility of working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly bad debt performance plans.
  • Gather information from consumers to open charge accounts in accordance with company policies and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and understand consumer credit reports to provide accurate information on approved limits authorized by store management.
  • Collect personal transaction information and maintain data accuracy and security in accordance with the company's consumer privacy policy.
  • Call customers and work to reduce past due accounts and schedule payment arrangements.
  • Accept payments or advances on established consumer credit accounts.
  • Maintain professional attire, demeanor, and neatness in accordance with company policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license or unexpired picture ID issued by the State authority is necessary.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
