About the position

The Account Sales Executive at Spacelabs Healthcare is responsible for driving sales growth in a designated territory, focusing on both new and existing accounts. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to sales, with an emphasis on building relationships and achieving sales quotas in the healthcare technology sector. The position demands a high level of travel and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal resources to maximize market share and account penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales quota by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume and account penetration.
  • Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with key buying influences in each account.
  • Maintain knowledge of each account's purchase plans and objectives, responding proactively to changes.
  • Continuously prospect and maintain a sales funnel at a minimum of 7x annual quota.
  • Develop and implement an annual Business Plan to support quota attainment and market share growth.
  • Coordinate with multiple company resources to maximize sales and account penetration.
  • Represent Spacelabs Healthcare through product presentations, evaluations, and customer training.
  • Identify and develop strategic reference sites in the assigned territory.
  • Prepare quotes and necessary documents for sales completion.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports regarding expenses, activities, and market position.
  • Participate in Professional Trade Shows and attend sales meetings.
  • Control territory sales expenditures and monitor budget goals.
  • Maintain demo inventory and consignment equipment at prescribed levels.
  • Uphold the Company's core values and report any quality problems.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in a technical, science or business discipline or 4 years equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated medical and/or IT sales success in capital equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives in an assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Strategic/Spin Selling techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly developed relationship-building skills and experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver results through direct and matrixed teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
