About the position

The Account Sales Manager for Greater Lansing, MI is responsible for driving sales growth and brand distribution for Keurig Dr Pepper products within assigned retail stores. This role focuses on up-selling, fulfillment, and merchandising, ensuring effective execution of promotional activities and maintaining strong relationships with both small and large format customers. The position requires a proactive approach to managing accounts and maximizing product visibility and availability in stores.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize brand growth, share growth, brand distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.
  • Contact key personnel in assigned accounts pre-selling products, promotions, displays, and point-of-sale material.
  • Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations designed to maximize the sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
  • Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections, displays, and placement of POS material according to company merchandising standards.
  • Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the allocated beverage section, including racks and secondary displays.
  • Assist in the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain store accounts; check regularly for proper mechanical operation, cleanliness, selection, and product availability.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including special reports on promotional activity, competitive sales, and space allocations.
  • Maintain adequate amounts of back stock in each account to ensure product availability for in-store stocking and merchandising.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Experience in merchandising and executing promotional displays in retail environments.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and accountability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with beverage brands or in the beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with retail sales processes and customer relationship management.
