About the position
The Account Specialist at ITS Logistics serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships. This role involves overseeing client accounts, managing order processing, and facilitating communication between clients and warehouse operations. The position is integral to delivering high-quality logistics solutions and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee client accounts and provide exemplary service to customers.
- Assist in order processing using various digital platforms.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the warehouse operations team, communicating inbound/outbound demand and special needs.
- Work with ITS' Fleet and Freight Brokerage to enhance customer service.
- Provide consistent and professional communication regarding order status and special projects.
- Understand and comply with client contracts, performing basic billing and auditing tasks.
- Create and maintain documented standard operating procedures specific to clients.
Requirements
- Proficiency with automated information systems to research and resolve client-related issues.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone etiquette and fluency in English.
- Strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
- Willingness to go above and beyond in client support.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
