The Account Supervisor for the Media and Technology Team at DKC is a pivotal role designed for a creative thinker and business strategist with strong media connections. This position involves leading client accounts, fostering media relationships, and executing integrated communication plans in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in technology communications and will be responsible for mentoring staff while ensuring high-quality client service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main day-to-day client lead across accounts, ensuring quality control with teams.
- Identify, develop, and execute strategic partnerships, campaigns, and integrated communication plans.
- Deliver excellent client service and account management, acting as a reliable point of contact for clients, teams, and media.
- Foster new and significant media and industry relationships while maintaining existing key media relationships.
- Mentor and manage a growing staff, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.
- Study data, distill insights, and bring new ideas to the forefront.
- Work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 4-10 years of experience working at a PR agency and/or in-house communications team.
- Sophisticated media relations expertise and digital skills.
- Experience in B2B, consumer, and corporate communications focused on technology sectors such as enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, creator economy, and AI.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Motivation and attitude to mentor and manage staff.
