About the position

The Account Supervisor, Paid Search at Burson will be responsible for developing and executing search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for healthcare clients. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills to drive online visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions, ultimately contributing to client business objectives. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results and foster innovative solutions in a rapidly growing Paid Media team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals, target audiences, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with integrated media leads to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend appropriate SEM platforms.
  • Create and execute end-to-end SEM campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy development, and campaign setup.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with VP, Paid Search to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines for paid search materials.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively explore new technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Communicate campaign strategies and performance results to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in search engine marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across various platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEM principles, including keyword research and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in using SEM platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and their integration with SEM efforts.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical marketing or within a regulated industry.
