About the position

The Account Supervisor will manage client relations and project deliverables, support junior staff, and develop strategies for technology clients. This includes driving media opportunities, placing stories, and producing high-quality content while maintaining communication with clients and leading discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily client relations and project deliverables.
  • Support and lead junior staff in their tasks.
  • Conceptualize strategies, pitches, and media placements for technology clients.
  • Drive new story angles and media opportunities for clients.
  • Write high-quality client deliverables such as press releases, talking points, op-eds, and blogs with minimal oversight.
  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact and lead client calls.
  • Ensure timely management of client communications.
  • Execute day-to-day tasks with little guidance and stay on track of client deliverables.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in communications, preferably in tech PR agency or in-house for tech companies.
  • Strong storytelling skills with examples of op-eds, pitches, and other materials.
  • Versatile writing ability in both informal and formal tones.
  • Creativity in media relations, pitching, and social media content ideation.
  • Experience in driving technology product communications for mainstream audiences.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with varying levels of staff and clients.
  • Organized and accustomed to a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple assignments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with influencer engagement and social media content creation.
  • Familiarity with tech policy issues and their communication to mainstream audiences.
