Responsibilities
- Perform various accounting tasks related to cost analysis and control
- Accurately calculate material costs and conduct physical inventory checks
- Contribute to budgeting and long-term planning efforts for material costs
- Manage and track engineering costs
- Maintain a perpetual inventory system to ensure accurate inventory records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for cost accounting purposes
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting
- Support other accounting and finance functions as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- A four-year degree in Accounting or related work experience including cost accounting or financial analysis
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and Access is a must
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
