About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records using QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all financial transactions are accurately documented.
• Respond to internal and external queries related to financial information and accounting procedures.
• Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documentation.
• Assist with other administrative tasks related to accounting as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role or willing to learn
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel / willing to learn
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively build relationships with vendors
• High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and reconciliation.
