About the position

Trio Development is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager to support its operations in the real estate development sector. This role involves managing various accounting tasks, ensuring projects remain on schedule, and handling essential office management duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, along with proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and credit memos.
  • Maintain employee files and assist with human resources duties such as onboarding and time tracking.
  • Track vehicle requirements and manage insurance bills and renewals.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and communicate findings to staff and customers.
  • Create financial statements using software applications and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding accounts payable and receivable.

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping and office management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information discreetly.
