We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team at Wen Global Solutions Inc. This full-time position involves managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct account reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review, including income statements and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate journal entries and ensure compliance with double entry bookkeeping standards.
• Assist in governmental accounting tasks as required by regulatory agencies.
• Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Experience with Payroll processing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or a related field is essential.
• Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation is required.
• Experience with governmental accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong skills in financial report writing and analysis are necessary.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Software for accounting tasks is essential.
