About the position

RubinBrown LLP is seeking a motivated Accountant to join their Business Tax Services team. This full-time position involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, consulting on financial and tax matters, and conducting tax research and planning. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for business entities and individuals.
• Consult with clients on financial and tax matters.
• Conduct tax research and planning.
• Identify and communicate tax planning ideas for clients.
• Supervise tax staff assigned to engagements when designated as In-Charge.
• Plan and execute day-to-day activities of tax engagements in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service Standards.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities and communicate accounting matters to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• CPA or other related certification preferred.
• A minimum of two years of current or recent tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide high-quality services.
