The Staff Accountant position is a contract role focused on month-end close and financial reporting within a Birmingham-based firm. This role is crucial during a key period, providing an opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Handling month-end close and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Performing account reconciliations and managing trial balances.
• Conducting intercompany reconciliations and allocations.
• Managing credit card accruals and vendor allocations.
• Supporting compliance in reporting for a possible transaction and assisting with lease and budget management across 50+ locations.

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills for accurate reporting and analysis.
• NetSuite experience for smooth integration into the team.
