We have an exciting career opportunity in our accounting department for the position of Accountant/Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. You will conduct monthly analysis on P&L statements and Budget to Actual variances, prepare monthly expense and revenue trend analysis, and perform Payor Profitability analysis. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects, compile monthly statistical information, assist with annual budget preparation, and support ongoing projects as needed. You will also assist with month/year-end closings, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up to date. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with healthcare experience preferred but not required. Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft BI is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, have a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while establishing workload priorities and balancing projects. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, while a Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
