About the position

The Accountant position at SPECTRAFORCE involves maintaining general accounting processes and systems, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, and reconciling P&L and balance sheet accounts. The role requires collaboration with management and auditors, as well as problem-solving within COGS, Inventory, and Manufacturing. The position may also involve assisting in data extraction and analysis for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general accounting processes and systems.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end close and accounting transactions.
• Reconcile and resolve P&L and balance sheet ledger accounts.
• Prepare analysis and schedules for management and auditors.
• Assist in the maintenance of general accounting subsystems.
• Identify and resolve problems within COGS, Inventory & Manufacturing.
• Assist in data extraction and analysis for SAP implementation and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Experience in general accounting processes and systems.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare analysis and schedules for management and auditors.
• Experience with Oracle R12 preferred.
• Familiarity with Blackline and SAP S4 Hana is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data extraction and analysis related to product costing and variance analysis.
