Responsibilities

• Provide general ledger accounting and prepare financial reports.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements for assigned operations.
• Compile financial data and enter it into computerized spreadsheet programs.
• Coordinate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll functions for accurate general ledger accounting.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly closings, including recurring and nonrecurring entries.
• Accrue expenses monthly to reflect period costs.
• Prepare financial statements, analytical reviews, and year-end closings for departmental managers and upper management.
• Reconcile inter-company accounts receivable and payable.
• Analyze income statement accounts and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance reports.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and perform monthly analysis and allocations for assigned departments.
• Work with Marina Slip Rental Management for monthly billing and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Graduation from a college or university with a degree in Accounting.
• Two years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting work.
• Experience with computer accounting, spreadsheet, and inventory programs.

• Interest in obtaining CPA license.
