Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting services
• Record journal entries
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare sales tax returns
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Maintain client relationships
• Work closely with staff, managers, and partners on various aspects of client engagements

Requirements

• Public accounting experience preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, procedures, and terminology
• Knowledge of QuickBooks desktop and online is a plus
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced office environment with attention to detail
• Good organizational, writing, and verbal skills required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
• Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously, while maintaining consistency and accuracy
