Responsibilities
- Lead the general ledger functions, overseeing journal entries and accounts payable tasks.
- Collaborate with the AP clerk to ensure seamless payables processing.
- Manage the month-end close process and contribute to automation efforts, particularly in payroll.
- Identify and implement accounting efficiencies.
- Play a hands-on role in driving improvements and streamlining processes within the finance team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of general ledger (GL) experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and a knack for bringing automation to life.
Nice-to-haves
- A background in real estate accounting is a bonus, but not a must-have.
