About the position
Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Accountant for the Unapplied Cash team within the Revenue and Cash Accounting group. This hybrid remote position requires the candidate to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the office, specifically at the corporate HQ office in Austin's Domain. The Unapplied Cash team is responsible for the reconciliation of unapplied cash within reconciliation software and identifying opportunities to automate and enhance processes. The primary focus of this role is to support accurate financial reporting of Unapplied Cash through the reconciliation of cash transactions to accounts receivable postings. Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank deposits to accounts receivable postings
- Assist with aspects of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process
- Assist in the fulfillment of external and internal audit requirements
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis of data
- Assist with resolution of reconciliation issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
