About the position

The Accountant position at Uplinq involves leading the onboarding of new clients and ensuring their bookkeeping needs are met efficiently. This role is crucial in developing and refining onboarding processes to enhance client experience and internal efficiency. The Accountant will interact with high-value clients, manage company setups, and collaborate with various teams to create technology solutions that streamline the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding new clients and their entity(s) through Uplinq's platform.
• Support the development of Uplinq's onboarding processes for a frictionless client experience.
• Interact with high-value clients to ensure optimal account setup for bookkeeping services.
• Communicate with clients to answer questions and explain financial data as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to create valuable technology solutions within the onboarding process.
• Share responsibility for testing the financial feasibility of future product goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with cash and accrual bookkeeping.
• Experience with onboarding or company setup of new bookkeeping clients.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
• Professionalism and customer service skills.
• Experience collaborating with product and/or software engineering teams.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to adopt new tools and methods quickly.
• Exceptional organization skills.
