About the position

Caregiver Support Network is seeking a part-time accountant to manage financial tasks for approximately 10 hours per week. The role offers a very flexible schedule and involves various accounting responsibilities to support the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile bank statements
• Review trial balance accounts
• Prepare journal entries
• Manage property taxes
• Generate quarterly and yearly financial reports

Requirements

• Two Year Degree in Accounting or related field; or 3 years equivalent experience in accounts receivable
• Understanding of basic principles of GAAP, GL posting, finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Accounts payable experience (reviewing and entering invoices into GL)
• Accounts receivable experience (depositing funds and recording payments into GL)
• Knowledge of assets and depreciation
• Great Plains knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
