Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized and accurate financial transactions for the company.
  • Oversee company financials.
  • Manage general ledgers.
  • Support the financial side of premiums and claims.
  • Maintain check registers.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Work with spreadsheets and data files.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Assist in company-wide projects.
  • Analyze company-wide reports.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge and experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Prior Property & Casualty Insurance bookkeeping experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt.
