About the position

The Accountant at Sea Trade International Inc. is responsible for preparing financial reports and statements, conducting bank reconciliations, and performing cyclical audits. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and business acumen to manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) efficiently while ensuring the confidentiality of the organization's financial information.

Responsibilities

• Finish the vendor invoice collection, verification and post into SAP
• Finish vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner, including liner payments
• Finish finance steps in the treasury system
• Finish the settlement for supply chain development including Mexico Settlement
• Reconcile the customer AR and AP items and make statements, finish settlement
• Responsible for AR and AP job of Sea Trade Customs Brokerage Inc.
• Finish all jobs efficiently and timely
• Protect the organization's confidential information and records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Experience with SAP finance system

• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred but not required
