Responsibilities

• Record daily general ledger activity
• Process accounts payable invoices and reconcile vendor statements
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Serve as the accounting lead for project implementations and new business lines
• Act as the primary backup for other accounting positions
• Handle customer invoicing and payment collection
• Calculate and process amounts due to vendors
• Reconcile the general ledger and complete month-end close processes
• Maintain fixed asset listings and calculate monthly depreciation
• Generate financial reports and conduct analysis of employee expenditures
• File and remit taxes, including preparation of 1099s and collection of vendor W-9 forms
• Assist in the training of new staff and maintain accounting procedure manuals

Requirements

• Experience with general ledger reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounts payable processes
• Strong analytical skills for financial reporting
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Experience in tax filing and compliance
