About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance with SOX requirements.
• Analyze financial data and interpret reports for management review.
• Participate in budgeting processes, providing insights based on historical data and trends.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation.
• Support public accounting functions as needed, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably within a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation techniques.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance standards is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings clearly.
