About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
• Oversee payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
• Conduct financial auditing to verify compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards.
• Assist in budgeting processes by preparing budget forecasts and monitoring expenditures.
• Provide financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize PeopleSoft or similar accounting software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft or other accounting software is preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable functions and payroll management.
• Solid understanding of financial auditing practices and GAAP compliance.
• Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to prepare detailed forecasts.
• Strong analytical skills for effective financial analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
