About the position

The Accountant position involves supporting the Accounting Department in a reputable financial company. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while performing various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform account analyses and reconcile selected expense and revenue accounts
  • Review and analyze lease contracts, land purchase agreements, and track lease terms and conditions
  • Prepare assigned recurring and non-recurring journal entries for the month-end closing process
  • Answer questions from investors concerning variances on performance reports or direct questions to the appropriate individual(s)
  • Establish and maintain billing and aging of accounts receivable process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Previous Accounting experience with knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
